Although not the only one nowadays, the Music school MOKRANJAC is still at the very top of the musical education in the country, and its teachers and students confirm it by their manifold successes - concerts, public performances and by winning many awards at the different domestic and international competitions.For the extremely high standard of work and for the excellent artistic and educational results, the Music school MOKRANJAC is awarded the high public awards such as: the award "Dositej Obradovic" (1969.) , "Vuk’s Award" and "the Decoration of Contribution to the People with the Gold Medal" (1974.) On the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the beginning and working of the school, and the "Republic Award 25th May" (1984.) . Many teachers and students of the school are the winners of the important awards and acknowledgements of social importance.
